The short version
Be civil. Don’t cheat. Don’t pretend to be someone else. Don’t post anything illegal or harmful. Don’t abuse the platform or other members’ data. If in doubt, don’t.
Things you must not do

- No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, sexual harassment or doxing.
-
No content that targets people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or any
other protected characteristic.
-
No graphic violence or sexual content. MyCue is a community for all ages of cue-sports player; keep it
appropriate.
Cheat or game the system
- No falsifying match results, league standings, tournament outcomes or rankings.
- No collusion to fix matches or manipulate competitions.
- No creating multiple accounts to get around bans, vote-stack threads, or distort statistics.
- No inflating activity through bots or automation.
Misrepresent yourself or others
- No impersonating another player, team, venue, official body or member of staff.
- No claiming a venue you don’t own or have authority over.
- No fake reviews, fake news articles or fake match reports.
Post unlawful or infringing content
- Nothing illegal under UK law.
-
Nothing that infringes someone else’s copyright, trade mark or other rights — only upload media you
have the right to use.
-
Nothing that breaches someone else’s privacy — don’t share photos or video of identifiable
people without their permission, especially minors.
Spam or abuse the platform
- No unsolicited advertising, multi-level marketing, or off-topic promotion.
- No phishing, scams, malware links or anything that tries to extract money or credentials from members.
-
No scraping, mass-downloading, automated crawling or otherwise hammering the API outside of the abilities
granted by your token.
-
No reverse-engineering, probing for vulnerabilities, or interfering with other members’ use of the
Service.
Misuse other members’ data
-
The fact that some information is publicly viewable doesn’t mean you can collect it, redistribute it,
or use it to contact members for other purposes.
-
Don’t use anything you learn through MyCue (including calendar feeds shared with you) to stalk, harass
or harm anyone.
Reporting a problem
If you see content or behaviour that breaks this policy, please report it. The more detail you can give us — links, screenshots, usernames — the faster we can act.
What happens if you breach the policy
Depending on how serious the breach is and whether it’s repeated, we may:
- Remove the offending content.
-
Restrict features on your account (for example, prevent you from posting or entering tournaments for a
period).
- Suspend or permanently terminate your account.
- Report you to the police or other authorities where the law requires it.
We don’t owe you a warning before acting where the breach is serious or where leaving the content up would put other members at risk.
Appealing a decision
If you think we’ve got it wrong, email [email protected] with the details of your account and what was removed or restricted, and we’ll take another look.
