Terms of Service

The agreement between you and My Cue Ltd when you use MyCue. Please read it carefully — by using MyCue you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Who we are

MyCue (the “Service”) is operated by My Cue Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15156183). References to “we”, “us” or “our” mean My Cue Ltd. References to “you” mean the person using the Service, whether as a registered member, a venue owner or a visitor.

2. What MyCue is

MyCue is a community platform for cue sports — pool, snooker, billiards and related disciplines. Members can build a profile, find opponents, arrange challenges, enter tournaments and leagues, organise teams, follow venues, read news, share media and take part in community discussion.

3. Your account

To use most features you need an account. When you register you agree:

  • To provide accurate information, including a valid email address.
  • To verify your email address when prompted.
  • To keep your password confidential and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • That you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.
  • That you are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: be civil, don’t cheat or impersonate, don’t post anything illegal, don’t scrape or abuse the Service, and don’t misuse other members’ data. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach the policy.

5. Member content

You retain ownership of the content you post — profile details, posts, replies, photos, videos and so on. By posting it you grant My Cue Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, copy and adapt that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to post anything you upload.

We may remove content that breaks these terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law. We may also remove content for safety, legal or operational reasons without notice.

6. Tournaments, leagues and competitions

Some tournaments and leagues on MyCue are run by other members or by venues — not by us. We provide the tools to organise them, but the organiser is responsible for rules, fixtures, results and any prize fund. If you have a dispute with an organiser, please raise it with them first; if it can’t be resolved you can contact us.

Where MyCue itself runs an event, we’ll publish specific rules for that event. Those rules form part of these terms for participants.

7. Venues

Venue listings may be created by us, by venue owners after a verified claim, or imported from public sources. We do our best to keep venue information accurate but we don’t guarantee it. Always check opening hours, table availability and pricing with the venue directly before travelling.

If you are a venue owner and have claimed your venue, you are responsible for the news, fixtures and information you publish through MyCue’s venue tools.

8. Fees and billing

Most of MyCue is free. Some features — for example tournament entries, premium memberships or paid promotions — may be chargeable. Where they are, the price and what you get will be made clear before you pay. Unless we say otherwise in the specific offer, payments are non-refundable once a service has been delivered.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep MyCue available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, with or without notice, including features that were previously free. Where a change materially affects a paid service you’ve bought, we’ll let you know.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if your account is dormant for an extended period, or if we have to for legal reasons. After termination we may keep some information for as long as we’re legally required to (see the Privacy Policy).

11. Intellectual property

The MyCue name, logo, and the design and code of the Service are owned by My Cue Ltd. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you. You may not copy, reverse engineer or build a competing service from MyCue’s code, content or branding.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that can’t be limited under English law.

Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, MyCue is provided “as is”. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from how members use the Service (including disputes between members, missed games, or anything that happens at a venue).

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute that can’t be settled informally is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material we’ll let registered members know — usually by email or by a notice in the Service. Continuing to use MyCue after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
